Gerfaut: The perfect pick

A robotic cell shown from the inside: the real cycle, one axis opened part by part, the gearbox in cross-section and the control panel live.

Photorealistic 3D · FR · 1:18

Showing precision from the inside.

A robotic cell sells on two promises nobody can see: its cycle time and its accuracy. The film follows the real six-second cycle, opens an axis part by part, cuts it open to show the gearbox at work, then dives into the control panel, without a single cut.

The problem, from the first second

4,000 parts a day, by hand: it’s all set out before the robot moves, while the camera reads the part as it passes.

  2. Gerfaut, at 28.4 s: One part at a time
    02 · 28.4 s

    One part at a time

The axis opens along its real removal direction: motor, gearbox, encoder, brake and board appear one by one, each with its key figure.

  3. Gerfaut, at 52.1 s: The cutaway that explains
    03 · 52.1 s

    The cutaway that explains

The elbow opens and the strain wave gear really turns, tooth by tooth: 101 motor turns for one turn of the elbow.

Your air, your heat

A screw compressor on the booth screen: the air followed from intake to discharge, then the heat recovered, in wide shots you can read from across the aisle.
